Madison Lintz, an American kid actress and popular television star who rose to fame due to her role in the Walking Dead's horror-drama, The Walking Dead. The character she played, Sophia Peletier in the highly popular series made Madison an extremely well-known child actor in the decade of 2010. In this role, the young girl was nominated for a Young Artist Award in the category for the Best Performance of the TV Series Supporting Young Actress. Madison was the daughter of an actor's mother and a stage actress father, was exposed to the glamour and thrill of show business from a young age. Her mother introduced her to the acting profession at the age of 6 years old. Growing up literally performing in front of cameras it wasn't long for her to develop into a professional actor. At first she was making commercials. One for Golden Corral broadcast in all 50 states. She was chosen to portray Sophia the character from The Walking Dead when she was only 11 years old. The show's success led to other acting offers and then she began her journey into movies, as well as playing support roles in the movies Parental Guidance and After.
